It's during the moments that I am feeling grumbly & not very grateful that I need to really search. I must remind myself the wonderful things haven't disappeared, it's just the filter I am seeing them through has gotten cloudy. So my two cents for today is: "be mindful of the Blessings that surround you and...keep your filter clean!"

That's the great thing about gratitude practice--the more of it I do, the more I realize how deeply blessed I am. And when I do get "grumbly" it doesn't last as long if I can get back to the gratitude. As you said in your previous post, just pausing and noticing is a great start. (I love the writings and work of Brother David Steindl-Rast.) Thanks Maria!
